Why is this free... You've stumbled onto a working formula! Keep up the good work! I love this game, it's unironically good!
Few ideas!
-Maybe make it so you can zoom out a lil more the more you expand, feels crowded sometimes!
-Maybe make the tree go slightly transparent when you are building directly behind it, and your mouse happens to be hovered over the tree with an item selected.
-Maybe add visible damage to the tree when it's been munched on, besides just looking upset, like missing leaves and bare branches or whatever!
-Maybe It could use a fast forward button.
-Maybe make it so you can purchase more land!
-Maybe have popups for each time a new baddy appears on screen, and give a lil cute info to help peeps learn how to deal with them!
-Maybe add plants that can chomp up drops/coins! Like a snap dragon or something! lol
-Maybe the tree can grow fruit, and if enough grows it shields em from being munched on directly for a lil bit! Longer they remain un-munched, the more fruit that grows! Maybe you can pick diff fruit that has more resistance, and to balance em, maybe you are limited in amount based on what fruit you pick!
[Reasoning? I was caught off guard when flying baddies came in and ignored my flowers, if fruit was there for a buffer!]
-Maybe some type of Bomb Mushroom, for an explosive spore area attack! Kinda like a land mine, only useful if they happen to run into it! maybe the longer it goes untouched, it'll have a chance to spread to an adjacent empty spot, as mushrooms tend to do! Maybe they also damage the tree as well if they go off directly next to it, friendly fire! so peeps can't just surround it with them! forcing them to think a lil more strategic! cause ya know... there are fungi that kill trees irl!
-Maybe add a "nonstop" mode, just wave after wave, just too see how long you can last!
-Maybe add seasons, just so the scenery changes every now and again, for variance in look!
-Maybe make it so you can click and drag your mouse to select an area to plant multiple of one plant, and it will fill that area until you're out of coin, and same for deleting them too! So it's not so tedious, and you don't feel as rushed between waves!

you don't get what I meant。I can roll the middle bottom to Zoom in and out，but can't zoom out enough to see the entire map，for example，I can't see the whole grass.

Hey Its me SoySauce I just gotta say... I cant believe I have the Patience of playing this game (2 Whole Days). Wonderful just a wonderfull game you have here Mr. Robertson. The fact that I almost cried when i lost my progress is insane. My first attempt playing I eventually made it pretty high. I would have the game playing in the background and keeping an eye on it when a wave ended or if i was loosing plants. But the wost happend... It was 3:17 AM (not supposed to be playing) I was watching the screen collecting gold coins petting my dog next to me when I FELL ASLEEP, good thing i took some screen shots everytime I would hit 1 Mil money and so on. Before taking a 30 min nap the last thing I saw on my screen was (round 64, 2,947,886$) I was gonna take a 3 Mill screen shot but when i woke up MY PC CRASHED, and when I booted up my pc everything was gone. I must of reached so high the game broke my pc, ill show last screen shot in next comment. :(
I simply cant open it, cant play the browser version, nothing. All it does when i execute the .exe file in the download or press run game on the browser is it says : "Failed to create openGL context : could not create EGL context (Call to eglCreateContext failed, reporting an error of EGL_BAD_MATCH)"
The game will not run on a Windows 7 64 PC, in the browser, or via download. Chrome will throw the error 'Failed to create OpenGL context (eglCreateContext failed)' and Windows reports 'GROW.exe has stopped working' immediately after execute.
I mean, I *could* do that, but I won't. If nothing else, now you know why the game won't work for anyone... because we're all still using Windows 7 -- the last Windows.
Incredibly cute and happy tower defense game!! Wish it had an ending with a boss at like wave 20 though, and a popup after, asking if you want to continue in endless or return to menu with a completion star or something :^)
I played on hard really liking the progression and challenge the game offers with the enemies and plants! This is how far I got until I was satisfied with my stats and garden :3
wave 23 and NOW i get that you can WASD around :3 Super fun game! ppl complain that it gets boring after round 20 [it does!] maybe a completion popup stating that you've ended, maybe offering to keep on infinite mode.

The downloaded file is a Zip which contains the game's content inside, it needs to be unzipped so you can access it. You should be able to do this by right-clicking on the file and selecting Extract All. Hope that helps!
This game is cool! I only have one suggestion. I think you should add a super expensive, late game unit. I'm talking like 100K coins or something.
An anti-air unit - the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor hangar. Raptors famously love to pop balloons, and I think it would really fit into this gameplay nicely :)
fun game! rockets might be too op. game runs itself after you unlock them, just left the game running over night and only had a few pieces of the outer hedge wall missing when i woke up. also would be nice to have a note saying the rockets don't attack air troops. i replaced my missile bells with rockets when i unlocked them. only reason i dont have 100 health. will probably leave the game running to see how high a wave i can hit
Jokes aside though, there are 2 easy ways to majorly improve the game.
1: Add a gameplay speed up button. (x2, x4 etc...)
2: Add a renewable fertilizer option. When you apply it to a plant, that plant will keep getting automatically fertilized the moment the fertilizer buff ends, consuming 225$ every few minutes in the process. (It's good for late game)
Fun game, not much content after filling the map with rockets. Spikes feel kinda useless, and having to click to place each individual plant gets annoying quickly.

Hey man this game is amazing in my opinion i would wish for a sandbox mode but thats just me man(sorry for bad english am german)
how to see the full screen?I can just see part of it,then use wasd to move around my perspective
you can use middle mouse button to move around, and press F11 or press the pause button and go full-screen there

Windows 7 is far out of support from Microsoft, and therefore people don't generally patch for it... upgrade your OS, man.

i have the whole folder for the game on my desktop and just run the .exe from the folder. wasnt working for me outside of the folder

Playing on laptop and it's insanely zoomed in to the point I can't play the game properly. Any clue what's going on/how to fix?
