fun game! rockets might be too op. game runs itself after you unlock them, just left the game running over night and only had a few pieces of the outer hedge wall missing when i woke up. also would be nice to have a note saying the rockets don't attack air troops. i replaced my missile bells with rockets when i unlocked them. only reason i dont have 100 health. will probably leave the game running to see how high a wave i can hit
Jokes aside though, there are 2 easy ways to majorly improve the game.
1: Add a gameplay speed up button. (x2, x4 etc...)
2: Add a renewable fertilizer option. When you apply it to a plant, that plant will keep getting automatically fertilized the moment the fertilizer buff ends, consuming 225$ every few minutes in the process. (It's good for late game)
Fun game, not much content after filling the map with rockets. Spikes feel kinda useless, and having to click to place each individual plant gets annoying quickly.
This game is incredible. If this was a flash game that I found way back when I was a kid, I would probably have spent an entire weekend on this. I've loved the concepts of plants in tower defense because they don't look like they can just walk around like other TD's (BTD series is the biggest example). The music also goes really hard for no reason; it almost reminds me of Waterflame and I love it. The art is great and the concept of plants growing stronger over time works amazingly
I'm sure you've already heard your fair share of suggestions, so you can pretty much stop reading here if you want. But, here are some things I'll leave if this game is something you want to keep working on:
I'd like to see the 'growing stronger over time' mechanic a little more. It's a great mechanic because you get excited whenever a plant survives knowing it'll be stronger for future waves. So adding more stages that take a really long time to grow to and adding growth to the attacking plants would be cool
Along with the growing change, the insta-grow will have to be reworked a bit. It's good in the late game when there isn't time to wait for anything to grow and space is tight, but the problem is that the growing mechanic feels less rewarding and special the instant it's unlocked. Either make it only grow a plant by one stage each or have it only work up to a certain stage
I'm a 'less is more' guy, but I think a few more plants are kind of needed. Rockets are OP and there's not much room for variety otherwise. On top of nerfing rockets, I think the bare minimum is adding at least a closer range tower and a longer range tower
Picking up coins should be a bit easier. Either make the range bigger or have coins be picked up just by hovering over them (so you can pick them up easily while planting)
Have the late game difficulty ramp up more. Maybe it was just because I was playing on normal, but the late game got really slow really quickly and I think it's something to look into
Also, I'm just one guy. Don't worry too much about these suggestions and make the game for yourself first. Thanks for reading this far and I hope you have a good one
I installed the game since my browser isn't strong enough to run it here, and my computer isn't able to run it. It just asks for permission to change things on my computer and then disappears. I've even run the application itself as administrator and nothing works. Is there a solution for this?
I’ve beat the game! It was a lot of fun! I saw a guy played with it on yt and thought I’d do better than him, and well, I wasn’t wrong! 😁
I first started with easy mode to avoid the struggling and just explored the game. It was fun! And then I saw everyone says it’s easy, so I wasn’t satisfied and started it over in hard mode! It wasn’t that easy, but if you manage until lvl 17, when Rocket Plants are unlocked, then you’re good.
Rocket Plants are just waaay waaay too OP. They have the longest range, highest damage and even AOE… They can even destroy Drippers! I don’t think that’s intended though. At least it shouldn’t be, I think, since they are airborne. In spite of this, if a Dripper gets in a way of a flying rocket, then it explodes and kills it, and even if a Dripper’s just near enough of an exploded rocket, it dies. Because of that, only a handful of them passes through to get close enough of the Missile Bells, which makes them almost irrelevant.
Also, I’d like to see some ending, like the plants triumphed over the tar monsters or something, instead of long drawn-out waves. All in all, it was a pleasant experience! 🌳🙂
I love this game so much! Normally, I don't write paragraphs in a comment section, BUT I love this game and really want to see it grow! So I have some suggestions. I had trouble collecting all my coins, so I thought maybe a new plant that goes around the square collecting coins, but also damages enemies. Another suggestion is making the square bigger, I think that making it even would be more satisfying and better to have more space. I also think that adding a timer or clock at the top would be very helpful. You should also add more starting plants, like instead of just the sunflower add maybe a lily that tosses bombs in a specific area, or a rose that splashes "Rose water" on the enemies to slows them down while slowly damaging them. I have also more plant ideas! Here they are: A Venus fly trap that damages the flying enemies, a poppy that shoots those little pollen balls like the sunflower, except it splits off into three little pollen balls. That's all I have to say now, thank you for reading this EXTREMELY long comment! Have a good life, and good luck on your game. :)
really fun but it could use some improvement i think you should add something like the marigold from plants vs zombies so you don't have to wait for enemies to die
This game is really hard. I find it incredibly fun, however. The game radiates the feeling of always being underpowered and at the risk of death, which is enjoyable. I cannot, for the life of me, get past wave 11 on normal, however. The flying enemies aren't the problem, but rather the ram horn enemies that have both incredible speed and health. Besides that good job.

Playing on laptop and it's insanely zoomed in to the point I can't play the game properly. Any clue what's going on/how to fix?

playing on broswer and my flowers kill enemies off screenand i cant pick up the coins because they are off screen ( full zoom out )
